After two years of Covid, it's time to head back to normality and I've finally got some great news to announce!! 
After much planning, some huge logistical steps conquered and crossing an ocean of legal squalls, Rhodope Art are finally able to offer our long awaited Painting Tutorials – here in the beautiful border region of Bulgaria and Greece!
I used to run painting tutorials in France and absolutely loved helping guests turn an interest in learning to paint into a passion for all I hold dear. I've missed the great company it inevitably brings, the fun, the laughter and the joie de vivre – if you've never been on a painting holiday, get it on your bucket list NOW. You'll make friends for life, see cultures and landscapes you could only dream of and most of all, pull out some talents you always suspected you had lurking in the back of your mind.
I'll set the scene – we've secured a gorgeous restored Ottoman villa in the award winning town of Zlatograd, where they take their history and culture very seriously indeed. Just three miles to the Greek border and then a dramatic mountain drive down the to Aegean sea and turquoise water and white sands (yes, you'll be painting there too) the town has been restored to the highest standards and our Villa is at the very centre of it.
Accommodation is full board, with restaurant meals, spectacular menus and some fine wines to tempt you – all set in a wonderful Spa complex with indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, steam rooms, massage, and a host of extra treatments to pamper yourself after a hard day at the easel.
We'll collect you from Plovdiv Airport (Ryanair and Wizz Air) and for the next 7 days, immerse you in a superb blend of Greek, Ottoman and Thracian culture, bagpipes and all. You'll paint in a small group, using whatever medium you feel most happy with, with me on hand to guide you through the process.
